Cutter Mini District Rear Safety Light - 2009

Cutter’s Mini District Rear Safety Light perches on your seatpost, watching your tail like a gunner in a WWI biplane as you pedal through the dark veins of your sleeping city. Complete with included batteries, three light modes, and a detachable seat post clip, the Mini District makes it easier than ever to look more like a responsible cyclist and less a drunk adult pretending to dogfight the Red Baron during the ride home from the pub.

Bottom Line: Bro, that universal seat post clamp is awesome! Thanks man, I think so too. Now out of my way, the Baron is bearing down on me.

Good Value

This is a strong performer for the money. The on/off switch is conveniently located and easily toggles between modes. To move the light from my road bike to cross bike (which have different diameter seat posts) I simply removed one of the two included layer pieces on the collar. The batteries are a smaller size, not the typical AAA.

cheap...

but get's the job done, like most other cutter stuff. Nice cheap alternative to the more expensive stuff, without sacrificing too much quality.

Perfect for training early or late

By: paknet
June 13, 2009

I'm very satisfied with this mini light: It mounts easily on your seatpost; comes with two widths of spacers; battery installation is simple; it's compact and doesn't interfere at all with your legs; easy to put on and take off; and it's easy to operate with two flashing settings and one steady. For commuting I'd go with a larger light, but this one is perfect for when you're out training early or late, when you just might need that added safety margin.

bright, small, batteries included, easy on & off. all you could ask for in a rear light.

on a side note... i know a guy that bought 17 of these and connected them all over his shirt and pants and went to this rave, all attendees seemed to enjoy that.

Great Light - Bad Battery

By: CompanyClerk
December 28, 2009

I really loved this light when I got it, bright, easy to mount... When the battery died I looked around for another "Type N" battery. The battery cost as much as the entire light when it is on sale. I have tried to find the "Type N" in a rechargable... Not available.

Can't beat the price

I picked one of these up on bonktown. The light is great. I was using on my mountain bike, but will now use it on my Cutter Bones bike. Easy to use and long lasting.
