Cutter Tryke Cable Lock - 2009
So you might not actually own an urban assault tricycle, but if you did you know you’d wanna lock that beast up with Cutter’s Tryke Cable Lock. This thicker-than-a-retriever-tail cable lock wilts the hearts of thieves just like your heart wilted when you didn’t score that sick big wheel on X-mas morning back in ’87. Sling the Tryke over your shoulder and leave the bag at home. Cutter included two keys so you have options when it’s time to unlock.
Bottom Line: My lock is bigger than your lock.
It seems sturdy

But it seems to actually be a normal sized cable wrapped in extremely thick plastic (the plastic is rounded so it magnifies the cable to make it look a lot larger, cut into it to see what I mean, it's not hard to do). I would say that nearly half the diameter is plastic.
Otherwise, it's a nice hefty feeling lock that's comfortable to carry around and isn't too heavy. I just compared it to my spiral cable lock and this cable's still a good deal thicker, but not nearly as thick as I thought it to be at first glance.
Note: I have only cut through the plastic in the photo. The cable itself is not so easy to cut, though I didn't really try since I plan on still using it.
Change me.
