Endura Venturi eVent Bike Overtrouser - Men's

A little rain—or even a lot—won’t ruin your day of riding. You wore your Endura Men’s Venturi eVent Bike Overtrousers on top of your shorts. These durable pants feature exceptionally waterproof breathable eVent fabric, fully taped seams, and waterproof zippers for bomber weather protection on the singletrack. When the clouds wring out their last drops, pull up the Venturi’s ankle zippers so you can get these pants over your muddy shoes, and fold the Venturis into the rear pocket, which becomes a bag. Stash your bagged pants in your hydration pack, straighten your bike shorts, and keep biking. Do these Overtrousers have padding in the seat, or is it expected

Do these Overtrousers have padding in the seat, or is it expected to wear padded bike shorts under them? How close do they fit around the ankle/calf? Do they avoid getting sucked up by the chain ring?

No Padding in these.
They are designed to wear a Liner or Short under them.
The Ankle has velcro to cinch tight around your ankle and stay out of the Cranks wile the Calf is snug not to flap around.

These pants are built out of Event Fabric with no Liner. They will keep you dry and will breath but you may need to Layer under them to stay warm on a below Freezing day.
