Focus Cayo 1.0 - Force
The Focus Cayo 1.0 will accompany you on your journey from novice racer to experienced rouleur. The carbon fiber frame features a tapered head tube to give you better stiffness for out-of-the-saddle efforts, and improves steering and handling on descents. Focus decked out the Cayo with SRAM's Force gruppo to give you easy-to-maintain, simple, crisp shifting, so your efforts are never limited by your drivetrain. A BB30 bottom bracket increases the stiffness of the frame where it matters most, and the FSA Gossamer crankset provides a solid platform to maximize power transfer. The full-carbon fork minimizes road chatter, and helps you carve a powerful turn through even the gnarliest mountain descents.
- DT Swiss R1850 wheelset rolls fast, and engages quickly so you can respond to attacks as they happen
- Compact chainrings mated to an 11-28 cassette give you major top-end power while still providing a comfortable low gear for massive climbs

I really wanted to step up my racing this year without breaking my bank account, and my shop guys suggested the Cayo 1.0. I only had carbon seat stays and a carbon fork on my previous bike which was a Fuji, so I was pumped when I learned I could get a full carbon frame and fork for under $3,000!! The short wheelbase allows me to quickly and solidly dart around my competitors like they're sitting still, but best of all I'm psyched to see improved crit times!! I totally recommend this bike for someone looking for a lightweight, responsive, and best of all affordable name taking race bike!
