Go ahead and bitch about your weak brakes, but unless you're using GORE RideOn Low Friction Road Brake Cables, it's probably your worn-out cables' fault. The cables work as advertised. That's unusual today. Installation went well. Smooth as butter. We'll see how long they last.

Probably not. Gore makes a extra long for tandems and Time trail bikes. When I installed on my bike, there was only about 1 foot extra.

I upgraded to RideOn brake and shifter cables on my Dura Ace 7800 equipped bike. There is no question that the quality of Gore products is top notch but I just don't notice much of a performance improvement over stock DA cables to justify the cost.
Is there anything special that I need if I am using the new Zero
