Pearl Izumi P.R.O. In-R-Cool Bib Shorts
It's common for a manufacturer to have matching jersey and short combinations —in fact it's the norm. Most of the time it simply makes it easier to match. However, in the case of the Pearl Izumi P.R.O. In-R-Cool Bib Shorts, you'll discover that the shorts and jersey both utilize the same materials that will turn your hot and humid summer ride into a comfortable, ventilated joy.
By including their top of the line P.R.O. Seamless 4D Chamois, in the In-R-Cool Bibs, you know your rear will be ready for whatever the road and your riding companions can throw at you. This chamois is their most advanced, suited for enthusiasts and pros alike —anyone on the bike four or five days a week. And you'll be impressed to know that this iteration of the chamois still has the variable density foam, but it's 35% lighter and thinner than before.
The three layers of padding make it possible to place material where it is needed. You won't have to worry about chafing since it is seamless and has a four way breathable stretch to avoid any moisture build-up. Pearl Izumi also included their Pressure Relief Technology (PRT), which means that the insert has been specifically designed to relieve those most tender spots and allow the blood to circulate. They also added thermo-regulating carbon yarns, which prevent the friction from developing.
As for the bib legs, Pearl Izumi has made use of the same advanced materials that they have lavished on the P.R.O. In-R-Cool Short Sleeve Jersey. By integrating both its Minerale and In-R-Cool technologies into the Transfer fabric that is used for its bibs, Pearl Izumi ensured that the fabric will reflect the sun to keep you cooler and simultaneously work to wick the sweat that does develop. Integrating Minerale boasts 15 times the typical poly weave surface area, which facilitates wicking and evaporation of moisture.
The anatomic, multi-panel design ensures the riding position fit will be perfect and free from bunching or gapping fabrics. The bib suspenders use the P.R.O. Transfer fabric with Minerale straps. The silicone leg gripper holds the short legs in place. They won't pinch your skin either, even if you haven't quite joined the fully initiated and keep your legs unshaven. The Pearl Izumi P.R.O. In-R-Cool Bib Shorts have a 9 1/4in inseam. They are available in Small through XX-Large and come in Black/True Red.
- Aero Fabric reduces drag to up your aerodynamic edge

Bottom Line: It almost feels like cheating.
