Bell Volt Cycling Helmet

Considering all the airflow going on inside the Bell Volt Race Cycling Helmet, Bell should have called it the Volt Race Cycling Vents instead. This helmet’s 11 front vents work with Bell’s Composite Fiber Intakes to pull tons of air toward your head as you pedal. Internal StreamJet channels guide the air over your dome. The heat radiating from your head exits with the air out the back exhaust ports, leaving you cool. By the way, this Tour de France-worthy helmet does an outstanding job of protecting your noggin too—in addition to Bell’s sturdy Fusion In-Mold Microshell, a skeleton reinforces this lithe helmet in much the same way that rebar fortifies concrete. Let your helmet take the blow instead of your skull.

Great Helmet

I shopped around quite a bit before selecting this helmet. This one seemed to fit my mellon the best and was lite and confortable. The helmet keeps your head cool on hot days and has good air flow. Some of the veins are reenforced with carbon, which adds strength and looks sharp. Great value for the money compared to other high end offerings. I have a medium, which weighs 310g dispite the Bell site claims of 280g.

Can't believe I ever road w/o this helmet.

I got this helmet for my birthday this year; not only was it the best birthday gift I couldn't believe I had been riding w/o it.

The previous revue is spot on; this Helmet is light, breathes great, adjusts and fits well. Though, I didn't pay for my helmet I would have considered this a deal.

Good skid lid

Fits just like the Bell Sweep. The straps are a little finicky to get totally flat. After a few minutes of mild frustration you can get them flat against the contours of your head. Bell tends to fit heads with a round profile. Comfortable and plenty of vents that you can stick your glasses in.
