Castelli Armando Quarter-Zip Cycling Jersey - Men's - 2008

Castelli named the Men’s Armando Quarter-Zip Cycling Jersey in honor of one of cycling apparel’s great innovators, Armando Castelli, who made a silk jersey for Fausto Coppi, five-time winner of the Giro d’Italia. Before silk (and spandex and other fabric innovations that helped cyclists get an edge on the competition), riders wore wool. In keeping with old school style, this wool shirt’s two back pockets feature button closures.

Great Quality

I actually ended up returning this because of the size, but I'll review my first impression anyways. The quality and workmanship is very very high and the wool was exceptionally soft. I wish it WAS in my size. I am 6'1" 186lbs with a 34 or 35 waist and the XL was just slightly too large for me. I went back and forth for a few minutes but then decided I didn't want it to be baggy at all even if it was a great deal. A LG probably would have worked for me.
