Castelli Ergo Due Knicker - Men's - 2008

Cold knees are a thing of the past when you wear the Castelli Men's Ergo Due Knicker. Extremely comfortable Lycra 29 fabric provides outstanding stretch and rebound for your broad range of athletic motion, while Castelli's award-winning KISS chamois cushions with three layers of multi-density foam. You won't feel the seams in the chamois, because there aren't any—the pad is completely thermowelded, so chafing isn't even an issue. An 8-panel anatomic cut gives different parts of your body the specific range and freedom of movement they need to carry you across the finish line.

Bottom Line: British cyclists love knickers in any form, even man-tight form.

no-knees are good-knees

i have a deep-seeded aversion to displaying my knees to the public, so these knickers are perfect for me. they're thin enough for warm summer days AND cool fall mornings. definitely go a size up (i'm 6' with a 32' waist and the Large fits perfect). my only complaint is the elastic around the legs seems to unravelling a bit after about 15 rides. but until it unravels totally, they will be my garment of choice.

Warm and cool, the best of both worlds...

Great knickers for the winters here in Texas. They keep me warm in the colder mornings (40's) and really wick when the temp rises. The last ride I did was a 40 miler that started at 45 degrees and warmed into the 60's. Kickers kept me warm, then cool, but never damp. KISS chamois is very comfortable too. Fit is true to size chart.

How about the fit?

By: olanoff1563832

I originally ordered a medium, but needed to re-order a large so I could get them on. Even then the waistband was too tight, so back they went. If not for that I'm sure I would have loved wearing them.

Waist sizing is way off

By: erg3198331

I have a 32" waist, and am 5'10 with a typical build for a fit cyclist. I ordered the medium based on the sizing chart but literally could not get the waist band much above my knees when trying to get them on. The waist sizing is useless. Too bad because it otherwise could be a good product at a nice price. Thanks to another reviewer I won't bother trying to re-order the large.

After 6th grade swim team I swore to never wear lycra again.

But these Castelli Ergo Due Knickers were the perfect pickup for the Utah Fall, they keep my knees warm enough for the frigid morning rides to work and wick away the sweat during my all uphill ride home at the end of the day. Looks like I'll be riding my bike to work until the first snowfall after all, or until my speed wobble gets the best of me and sends me flying into the asphalt. I'll let you know how the knickers hold up to that.
