I love this jersey, it is so light and comfortable and it looks great; who says you can't look good too! I agree that the fabric is delicate so I treat with care but well worth it. I would buy a second if my size was still available.

When you pay $160 for a cycling jersey, you expect some long wearing quality. I agree with CycleJane that the fabric is lightweight, more so than any other jersey I've worn. I loved the style of the jersey when I got it. That's the only upside, as far as I'm concerned, however. I've handwashed since the first time I machine washed, because the jersey just didn't look the same after the machine wash. I use special wash detergent for my cycling gear and always wash on delicate. I only hang dry. This jersey has snags and pills, in spite of my special care. I've not had this jersey for 5 months and it just looks tired. I am a Castelli fan, so am especially disappointed to have this opinion.

Absolutely disagree. Own it in black and white sleeveless and LOVE it. I do long distances rides in North Texas during the summer where the temperature is regularly 95-105F. Dark fabrics are usually like putting a magnifying glass on your back, but the black sections of this jersey do not overheat the way most others do. Fabric is very breathable, feather light, and it looks good as new after at least ten washings (no drying, air dry only). Worth every penny for the cyclist who ventures into super hot weather.
