Castelli Velo Vest - Men's

Wear the Castelli Men's Velo Cycling Vest when you need a little protection from the weather. This vest's Forcefield fabric resists wind and light water, but breathes to keep you comfortable when you're climbing up a steep canyon road. Large in some areas small in others

A cool vest...at first. Then I rode with it. At home over my jersey it looked great and I was totally excited that it wasnt baggy and a had a great looking fit. BUT on the bike it's way too short on the back (3+ inches) and rides up but then across the shoulders it is too big and poofs up, enough so that it rubs the back of my helmet.I really can't see how even the next size would fix these issues for me.

I am returning this. The fit is too baggy. The jacket fits my armpits tight, but the body flaps in the wind. Also, there is not a rear pocket as the description suggest.

When in doubt with Euro brands, ORDER a SIZE UP, you will be surprised when it fits super tight, and you even sized up. Honestly I own more Castelli than the average cyclist, and you certainly need to size up.

I always order my normal size whether Jacket or Jersey because the manufacturer usually accounts for the layer. The Castelli sizes have been all over the board recently so there is really no telling, so order your regular size.

Light weight vest

Nice wind breaker on cool morning rides, packs away small so it doesnt take up room in your jersey pocket. Downside to the vest is that it has no rear pockets and the elastic on the bottom isnt tight enough so the vest rides up your back when riding.

This runs very small- I initially ordered a medium because that is what I usually wear in Castelli, then returned for a large, and large still feels too small...it is very short in front and the sleeves are cut more like a tank top than a vest...I generally like Castelli stuff, but I'm not a big fan of this one...maybe if you size-up twice. On the positive side, it is very light/packable- fits easily in a jersey pocket.
