Fulcrum Racing Zero Wheelset - Tubular - 2009

The Fulcrum Racing Zero Tubular Wheelset steps up a level from its clincher sibling, to give you tubular performance and carbon-like weight, all without the fragility of carbon. Two-to-One lacing allows for more efficient energy transfer when you’re sprinting off the line, so you can get out in front and stay there. Thin-walled extruded aluminum rims keep weight to an absolute minimum, and Fulcrum uses milled spoke nipples to eliminate fully drilling the rims. The combination makes the Racing Zero set light enough to blow the doors off the rest of the pack, and yet stiff enough to corner like you’re on rails. Short of carbon it's the best you can get from Fulcrum, and that's saying something.

Bottom Line: Go alu with Fulcrum, and get your fiber from muffins.
