Giordana Silverline Cycling Short - Women's - 2009

Giordana designed the Women’s Silverline Cycling Short to anatomically conform to your body as you ride. Moxie material’s high rate of compression massages your gams to help keep muscle fatigue at bay so that you can ride longer. The Silverline features a WMC-3 OF insert that retains its original shape when at rest but stretches with you as you move. Giordana included an elastic-free waistband for added comfort—leave it up when you want more coverage or fold over for the low-rise look.

Best shorts ever!

I ended up getting two pairs of these shorts -- one medium and one small (I'm 5'8", 125 lbs.). The small ended up fitting better all around, but both are fine (I had already worn the medium, so I'll just keep it). What I really like about these shorts is the waist band. It's wider, so it doesn't dig into your middle. The fabric is also very pliable, so it really moves with you. I also haven't experienced any chafing from the chamois. I joked with my friends that I almost forgot I had shorts on at all -- I had to look down a couple of times to make sure -- b/c these shorts are so comfortable!

Super Shorts!

These fit better than any shorts I've ever owned. They don't fold over at the waist while you ride, they are a bit narrower in the hind end and the padded insert really, really keeps you comfortable on long rides. These were on sale and I bought 2 pairs--went back to get a couple more and they were all gone! Great shorts.

Silky, cushioned, comfy

These are my first real cycling shorts, the most expensive I've ever purchased. I feel and see the quality superiority. After spending hours and hours online investigating different brands, materials, and performance reviews and styles, I decided to get these Giordana Silverline Women's Cycling Shorts - Item #GIO0125. The price was the best I could find without sacrificing the comfort or style I wanted. I really like the wide band at the waist and the curved line around the back.

The material is ultra soft too, like silk on my skin. The XS seems like it could easily fit a small except for the leg openings. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the shorts slightly pinch at the leg openings in the front. It looks sleek from every angle except from the front's bottom edge. It's not noticeable while seated but I noticed it when standing. If I decrease overall body fat percentage and harden up my thigh muscles, this probably wouldn't be noticeable. My first cycling shorts are a success.
