These shoe covers are easy to put on and remove. I have heard of the horror stories about people leaving their shoe covers on their shoes because of the hassle that they want to avoid with putting them back on. Well these booties are the answer to your prayers. We're taking about 10 seconds to put on or remove them as opposed to the 3 round wrestling bouts you sign up for with the cheaper options.

As far as their performance goes:

1. They are water repellent.
2. Durable as they show little sign of wear from usage or washing.
3. Excellent in cold weather as they breathe well and insulate you nicely in below freezing temps. (I have worn them on 90 min rides in the mid twenties without even giving my feet a second thought.)

Yes, these are pricey but quality doesn't come cheap. Pony up the money and stop crying already. You spent 4 grand on a bike so what's another 100 bucks.

These waterproof shoecovers are relatively easy to put on, with a velcro back closure and good fit for cycling shoes. Keeps your feet dry even in a downpour -- great for commuters. Not sure how durable the bottom material will be, but if you use these primarily on the bike and not walking, these should last long. Good workmanship, good quality, good product.

Overall, I'm really impressed with Gore Bike Wear cycling products, and these booties do not disappoint. Over the past 10-15 years, I've never found cold weather cycling enjoyable because no matter what I tried my feet got cold on longer rides (anything over 90 minutes). Not any more! These booties are really warm, and you can even wear thin socks underneath. So far, I've been on rides into the upper 30's with toasty toes (with the thermo lined model). The booties go on relatively easily, but it can be a snug fit if you have shoes with a wide toe box (e.g. northwaves), but maybe that's a good thing to help keep the elements at bay.
