No, it has a ratio of 53-39 tooth while most compacts have a 50-34 range.

LOOK 566 insane value and performance

By: Graham Faulk
June 2, 2009

I was on a budget this year and wanted a new high end road bike. I haven't been into riding since Greg Lemond was winning the Tour de France on LOOK bicycles. I went for it, the gearheads helped me with sizing, and I am so happy with the performance of the LOOK 566 with Ultegra SL parts. This bike even comes with LOOK pedals, what a sweet ride at a great price! Thanks guys. If the 566 is this good, how awesome would the more expensive one be?

I have this bike on order (from realcyclist) and have some questions. Does this bike come with pedals? If so, what type and what type of shoes work with these pedals?

3 hole pedals arent great for walking, but if you are into efficiency road shoes are great. SIDI are the benchmark,

in fact the ergo 2s are on sale for cheap right now from realcyclist

The bike ships with the Look Keo Classic pedals which is pretty great. The Keo Classic is only compatible with shoes that support three-hole cleats, not SPD.

I have 173 cm height and my inseam measure is 91 cm. What the correct size to me? I had a terrible experience and buyed an incorrect size from Wilier (size M model La triestina) and I´m so confused with the bike geometry. I´m very interested in buy a look 566, but I don´t want to make the same mistake I did. I live in Brazil and if necessary I can send you more information about my measures (arms, torso, etc..). Thank you very much.

Write your question here.

can I fit a triple front chainring set of this bike?

To be able to run a Triple Crank, you would have to swap Shifters as well. This includes Shimano Ultegra SL ST-6600 shifters, which will only work on Double chainrings. Shimano ST-6603 is required to run a Triple.

I know Look has changed over on this model the the Ultegra compact crankset with the 50-34 front sprockets, do your in-stock bikes have the full size or compact cranks on them. Your specs list the full sized ones.

Teeth: 53 / 39T

These do include a Standard Crankset. Detailed views on this product are taken in-house and detail this 53T chainring.

I could be biased but... I'd go with the Pinarello. The FP3 is built upon the same geometry as the prince which has been proven time and time again in the worlds top tours, plus it looks like it belongs in an art gallery. I would go with the classic.
