I just received size 44.5 via FedEx. I wear 45 in the Specialized

I just received size 44.5 via FedEx. I wear 45 in the Specialized brand road shoes, so I guessed 44.5 woul dfit me correctly. They are too small, so I am considering exchanging them for size 45. Should I instead exchange them for 45.5? Thank you for your advice / experience....

I have an 11.5 and got these in a 44.5 and, for the most part to be the correct size (although had to return them because they were still a bit too wide in the toe box for me). I just got some Specialized in a size 45 and found them to be a bit too big for me, (wish I got them in 44.5) and certainly bigger than the 44.5 Northwaves. Based on these experiences, I would estimate that the Specialized and Northwaves are about the same size.

Side Note: Both are excellent shoes!
