Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Glove

Sure, your legs are your main engine, but your hands are under a lot of strain when you bike as well. Thanks to dense U-Bridge padding, the Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves help ease pressure on nerves in your palms. The fingerless Attack Bike Gloves' Coolmax mesh cools your hands on hot days. Slip-on cuffs make it easy to pull on these Pearl Izumi gloves.

Bottom Line: Cover half of your hands with the cool, padded Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves.

Good gloves

By: Ryan McNair
September 25, 2008

My hands stay dry and these provide a good grip. The padding is a little off for me, which makes me think a size medium would have been better than a large. My hand is a little over 7 inches from base of the palm to tip of middle finger, if that helps at all :)

Nice gloves

By: benpantsed
August 25, 2009

I've had these gloves for a while now, and they get the job done. They keep my palms dry, and they have adequate ventilation for riding in 90+ degree weather. As in some other reviews, the padding is a bit off, but I think I just got a size too big--should've gotten a medium instead of a large: my hand is 9 inches around at its widest point. Overall, I haven't been disappointed with these gloves after riding about 300 miles with them.

Good basic gloves

I'm not a fan of a lot of padding, and these strike a nice balance. Great fit and ventilation. Very please with these.

Walk away from these

I've had these gloves rip at the palms after only a dozen rides. You can do better.

Love 'em

I have these in the women's model so I got these for my boyfriend. They are durable and your hands don't stay sweaty. Love 'em.

decent pair of gloves

By: PearlJamPSU
April 8, 2009

I've only worn mine about 10 times but they are very comfortable, they hold a solid grip, and they are well ventilated. I'm very curious as to how durable they will be, but so far, so good. You really can't beat them due to the price.

Great for summer

By: R

Very breathable and wicks well! Great "terry cloth" feature on the lower thumb area to wipe my brow or eyes. Nice, seemingly durable palm, but I've only used them a few times, we'll see how they hold up!

Money in the bank!

Probably the best biking gloves I've owned, regardless of price. They come broken in, and ready to wear.

OK+

By: djdickson
May 30, 2009

Not the best gloves in terms of padding, but no real complaints. The oddly shaped cushions are largely for show; your handlebars will tend to rest on the thinnest part of the glove (where the "pi" logo is), which undermines the gloves' ability to cushion road buzz.

Still, I don't hate these gloves. What I like most about them is that they come in XXL, and actually fit my hands. Most XL gloves are too tight-- they feel like putting on a wetsuit. These are great in that respect.

The build quality of the gloves is also very good. I have had mine for more than five months and have put them through the washer a half-dozen times, and they are still in remarkably good shape.

Not bad, but you can do better

By: pcalvin2249755

After 10 rides, the padding is RIP where it counts.

The seams are holding up, and they've done well in the washing machine, but don't count on much actual performance out of them.

Great to have

By: Mr_Tidbit Realcyclist.com Employee
May 30, 2008

I was a little skeptical about getting bike gloves, but these have made my rides to and from work much more enjoyable. I no longer have sore hands when I get home from a 10 mile ride as the padding in the gloves is perfectly placed to relieve any pressure from my hands while I ride. They are extremely breathable too, which is nice as I had a 12 mile ride in 96 degree heat a few weekends ago and my hands were not all hot and sweaty at the end.
My hand size is 8 inches (measuring from my wrist to the top of my middle finger) and I got the XL size in these gloves. They are slightly big, probably should have gotten the large size, but they work fine so I decided to keep them. I am very happy to have these gloves for rides now after being a bit skeptical.
