Great shorts

Nice shorts. The fit is large get a smaller size than you're used to...I'm 5'4" 125 lbs. and medium was way too baggy esp. in rear area. Traded for a small and it fits well, maybe even a bit larger than "second skin" should. But I just couldn't see getting an XS. The 3-D pad seems bulky at first but whatever it's made of it wears well no hot spots or rubbing to speak of, and the pad's lightweight materials "breathe" a lot better than other chamois-style pads. I ride 30 miles 5 times a week I've had these for 2 weeks at least and these shorts are my new fav. A bit pricey at $130 plus shipping, but worth it for sure.

The black&white shorts are on sale. Do they have the same

The black&white shorts are on sale. Do they have the same padding as the black ones? Are they on sale because they are last year's model and the newer one have beefed up padding? My wife tried the black ones at a local store and loves it but won't accept less padding.

If the answer is yes, same amount of padding, and we order several pairs, what is the return policy should my wife deem the padding to be less?

These shorts are crap. They offer no compression, they run generously large, the material is sub-standard (ie: extremely thin, but not cool), and the "silicone gripper" is less effective than cheap fabric tape. These shorts were so bad, they made me angry right out of the box.
