Its a glove, and it works

Padding seems to be in the right places and not overly done. Appreciate them during the longer rides. I've had them for 3 months and no serious signs of ware just turning black from the bar tape. So far so good.

Nice road glove

I got these first at a PI store where the guy said they were strictly a road biking glove - which may explain the complaints about padding (thinking MTB use?). I love them - light, supple pittards leather and they absorb sweat great. I think they are great!

Leather palm last longer that most others

These are one of the better gloves I ever used. The pittards leather is soft flexible and long lasting. The gloves hold their form well over time and don't seem to stink up to bad. I had these for cross-country mountain riding and the padding was the right combination of feel and vibration damping. Nose wipe is cool, albeit very gross. They are built to last an entire year but I never get that much out of them because pavement beats gloves, even leather ones.

not much to crow about

Pearl Izumi is generally a great company but these gloves are really light on the padding. They fit well and are light and comfortable but my palms still could use more padding to prevent nerve damage. I have been looking for better gloves but these will do for a short time as I wear them out quickly.

My favorite glove for years

I do not like riding with anything else. Not overly padded, that way you can feel the handle bar unlike some of the gel gloves out there.
