These are great socks. No smell after long hours in the saddle and very comfortable in warm or cold conditions. One thing though, I own the MD and LG size and fall somewhere in between. I wear a size 9 US or 43 EU which I thought was a pretty standard MD but that is not the case with these. The MD are real snug and the LG are almost too big. Stuck them in the dryer though and they fit better now.

Nice lightweight sock, that fits true to size. After 2 washings the upper cuff began to fray and not hold its shape as new. Decent price to value, but I think that if you can tolerate the graphics of Twin Six/Sock Guy wool, they are a better wool sock.

I confess to being a recent convert to the "wool" side. These are my first wool socks and they are wonderful. Fit comfortably, handle hot or cold, wet or dry with equal aplomb. I bought 2 pairs.

Another great cycling product from Pearl Izumi! These socks wick great, but the material is a little thinner than I expected for winter warmth. For cold winter days and nights, these would make a great inner layer. The rest of the year, these would be great as your only pair.

Pearl Izumi Tour Wool Bike Sock

These are great all-around socks. I wear mine on their own in spring through autumn and with another pair of wool socks over them on cold winter days. The only days that don't see me wear them are the hottest summer days. The wool provides wonderful wicking and they are perfect for cool mornings and days when it rains because wool doesn't stop insulating even when wet. I highly recommend these socks to anyone who needs versatile socks that perform all year long or to anyone who hasn't tried wool yet.
