Is there a difference in the fabric (lighter, thinner, less wind/waterproof)

Is there a difference in the fabric (lighter, thinner, less wind/waterproof) between the Zephrr and Vagabond jacket.
Or is the difference only that the Vagabond can convert to a vest.

I have both and the fabric is the same. There are some differences to the cut and pocket configuration, and obviously the Vangabond gets you the zip-off sleeves, but the fabric is identical between the two pieces.
