This bike is a gem to ride. Purchased my FP3 with the Centaur gruop and upgraded the wheels to Fulcrum 1's; bars and seat and seatpost to Most Talons, Most C-Max full carbon, and Selle Italia kit carbon. This is a dream bike if the Prince, and new carbon Dogma are not options in your price range. Frame is plenty stiff, handles very sharp, and the fit and finish is flawless. Got my bike down to 16.2 lbs with those upgrades, and will get it close to 15 next year with a SR11 group. You will not be disappointed with this bike (frame). With the Dura Ace 7900 group you have a pro peloton machine with a simple wheel upgrade. plus the bling factor is second to none.

The tech details on the right indicate it weighs about 17.13 pounds (7770 grams) in a size 54.

Bicycling.com review listed it at 17.3 pounds for a 54. But the story doesn't end there becuase the bike has real potential.

This bike is coming with fairly heavy Fulcrum 7 wheels. My Fulcrum 7s weighed in at just under 2000 grams. A seruos rider will want to swap the wheels anyway. So by just changing the wheels with a modest 1500 gram set, using light weigh tubes, and a 200 gram tire such as the Conti 4000s you could easily drop 570 grams of the bike. That bring the complete down to 7200 grams or 15.9 pounds. Something to really brag about.

I just bought a Pinarello FP3 Dura Ace 7900 on line. The salesperson was extremely helpful, knowledgeable,and made the shopping experience quite a pleasure. When I get my new wheels, I'll post again.

OK - here goes. I was formerly riding a Trek 7700, and doing about 50 miles a day. The bug bit and I got my Pinarello a couple of weeks ago. The first thing that made me smile when I got it out of the box, is that it is such a good looking bike...but that is only the beginning. The ride is quite unbelievable. It is soooooooo responsive, it feels like the Trek is a truck. The Dura-Ace gearing is smooth and quick. That little, skinny seat is really quite comfortable. I had to adjust its position both down, and forward, but aside from that, and pumping some air into the tires, the bike is perfect. This bike reminds me so much when I got my Porsche Cayman S. To describe the mind bending performance of that car to a "normal" car is exactly the same as describing the difference between the Trek and the Pinarello....it really can't be described. Go for it and get the ear to ear smile I have.
