Pinarello FP6 Frameset - 2009
The FP6 Road Bike Frame features exactly the same design and ride as Pinarello’s industry leading Paris Carbon Frame, but saves you some coin by using a more affordable grade of carbon fiber at the cost of about 150 grams. This gorgeous frame uses 30HM3K carbon fiber wrapped into a state-of-the-art design to give you an unbelievably rigid, light ride. Featuring scalloped edges and radical multi-shaping, the FP6 Carbon boasts ultimate stiffness under power and rugged durability. This frame’s carbon monocoque construction alleviates stress points that cannot be addressed by traditional butting methods, and provides a gentler ride than aluminum. If you want a top-of-the-line ride that weighs a little more but costs a lot less, look to the FP6.
- Includes: frame, fork, carbon seatpost
Bottom Line: The FP6 won’t disappoint.

Since I got this bike I get endless compliments on the looks and people are always saying "what did that cost you? like $8,000?" In which I can reply "nope, the frame was only $2500" and they are always stunned. Not only does itlook like a $8000 + bike but it performs as well too. Very stiff yet very smooth and comfortable on long rides. Climbs like a champ and holds its speed well in the flats. Great everyday bike that can truely do it all and do it all well. Signature Pinarello style is a plus too. I keep my bike in my living room (small condo) and sometimes I catch my self just staring at it. Amazing bike.
I'm 6'2 with a 33 inseam and I ride the 59.5 Paris, which has the same geometry as this frame; only difference is that it uses a slightly higher grade of carbon and weighs a few paperclips less. I rode the next frame size down, and I'd recommend the 59.5 if you can find it.
