I love the specs on this bike, but I dont see any eyelets for fenders on the fork. Am I missing something or can I not add fenders to this thing?

Write your question here... This looks like a lot of bicycle for the money. I am considering replacing my 1985 Trek 850. It is a nice bike, so I am used to nice but looking for a bicycle designed to be a commuter. The Metropolis is close. The 2 items that are critical to me, that the Metropolis lacks, are dynohub lighting system and the recent belt drive system. Both of these would be expensive, or imposible, to add on later. Lack of stick on stuff, like fenders and rack, I like because there are functunality and style issues.

Also where is the Metropolis's frame built and where is the bike assembled?

I am in no rush to replace the Trek so I am waiting for something a little closer to my ideal commute ride.

2) I'm unfamilar with your rear internal gearing - is there more info on how that functions (i.e. the mechanical design)? How does that compare to a more traditional gearing ratio?

2)Here is the website for the internal gearing rear hub. It has all the information you could want and a little more.

3)The bike will come in a large box completely built. Our in house mechanics make sure the bike is all set up and good to go. The brakes and dérailleurs will be adjusted so all you have to do is set your seat post height and ride away.
If you need service in the future we recommend going to your local bike shop.
