You get what you pay for

First of all a caveat about this review: These shoes did not fit me well, which ties in to my first issue: the Shimano size chart seemed to be pretty far off. I have a 11.5 shoe size and got a 46 (11.2 on Shimano's chart). They are HUGE on me.
I found the uppers to be pretty poor. They were pretty brittle out of the box and therefore fit alright, but as the broke in the upper seemed to crack. As they broke in they became huge to the point where I now have to crank down the straps as much as possible. It also took a while for them to break in due to the brittle upper. I got mine in July and it took me until about November to realize they were far too big.
The pros would be that the strap system is rather comfortable and they are a great price for carbon soled shoes.

Wore these for a full year. Have held up well. Comfortable. Nice and stiff. No pressure points. No problems.

Not as light as some others in same price range.

Run true to size.

I have been wearing these shoes for the past month. They fit good, have excellent rigidity so that I can put some power into the stroke. I wore them this last weekend on my first Century ride and they felt good through the entire ride.
