how is the sizing? I've been told that they are a bit off

how is the sizing? I've been told that they are a bit off and run large.

I personally found the sizing to be off on the large side. I have a size 11.5 foot and have the R-132L's in a size 46 and they are huge on me. Now looking again for new shoes :-(

I went to a LBS and found that 47 fits me good and I wear 10.5-11 in normal shoes. I find that all road bike shoes run small.

I tried these on at a bike shop and found the sizing to be just about right while wearing thin socks. I wear a 10.5 shoe and the 45 Shimano was a good match for me.

I (female) love these shoes. They were the only great road shoes available in my size (39, ladie's 9) when I needed them. They were a little snug at first but loosened up with continual wear. The heel is on the narrow side and fits me perfectly. The velcro adjustable straps are genius. I use them with a CrankBrothers system and they're an awesome pair! This shoe could also easily be used for triathlon training.
