Striking Design but Sizing is Off

This jersey just arrived and the design is truly striking. I ordered the green because I thought it would show off the design best. However, I am exchanging it for a size medium. I am normally a small or extra small in Sugoi, but this one is a little too tight and short in the small. The fabric is a little lighter weight than my other Sugoi jerseys as well, so the white parts are potentially see through. Also note it is a cap sleeve and not a mid-arm short sleeve. I think in a riding position it will wear more like a sleeveless jersey.
