Wonderful, fitted helmet

I have owned several helmets and find the Uvex adjustable head band system the best. It is easy to loosen and tighten to obtain the perfect fit every time. The strap system is also easy to adjust to obtain the fit needed.

Can you give me some idea about fit. I have a small head. For reference I have been wearing Giro Monza Helmets, size Small, which fit great. Giro no longer makes the Monza and its replacement, the Saros, does not fit me at all. Bell helmets seem to be for oval shaped heads and don't fit either. Story of my life :-)

Also, what color is the helmet? Is it Blue as in the detail photos or white as on the Uvex Sports web site?

This is actually my second Sport Boss helmet. I run a shop and have access to any helmet at a great price, but tend to gravitate back to Uvex for helmets. I'm am mixed about only one thing and that's the mesh. I love not being stung by bees, as I once was, but I miss being able to put glasses on the front of my helmet. That said, I put Radars on the back and they seem to be fine there. The adjustability is great on these helmets. The could be a bit lighter for me, but they are really pretty fantastic for a $100 helmet, actually less.

Like Time 3 strap shoes, I fully expect them to go away though, since I like them so well. :)

Good adjustments, comfortable, can get hot

I got this Uvex on Bonktown for a price I couldn't pass up, and at that price I'd have to say it would be tough to beat. It's reasonably comfortable, quite adjustable, light and looks good. One thing I like is that the front pad wrapping around the forehead strap actually is removable (it has a velcro backing and wraps around), which is nice when you want to wash it out. My only caveat with this helmet is it's not vented quite as well as my primary helmet: a Giro Pneumo. I definitely notice that it feels hotter when the temps climb. Overall, though, a great value.
