Merino Wool Rocks

Defeet WoolEator Bike Sock - Women's

According to defeet.com they used merino wool with this sock. I haven't used these socks for days on end to test for smell, but for the 2-3 rides I did use them, without washing, they smelled fine.

They don't have a lot of padding, but they felt great in the saddle. They also wick like mad. When I got back from a quick, but hot ride, they were nice and dry and kept my feet comfortable. I got the pink argyle, size M. I wear 40 EU in the Women's Northwave Shiver Mountain Bike Shoe, as well as a 40 in men's Adidas running shoes. The medium size fits great for me, but it has room to grow for anyone with a bigger shoe size. Just as a note, their website sizing chart recommends ordering a small for anyone with shoe sizes smaller than 40.

I would definitely recommend these, though I can't say I have any socks to compare these with.
