Pearl Izumi Whisper Vest - Women's

I have the vest in two colors. When I feel like being a "FRIGGING IDIOT" (see dweeb's entry below), I wear the black one...otherwise I go with the orange one. Actually, dweeb has a point...the orange one seems to get a lot more respect from passing cars. I reserve the black for groups rides when we're more visible. Material is great and packable. Works in light rain to protect your chest too.

P.S. I got orange last year...I think this year's version of that is the screaming yellow.

Castelli Sentimento Cycling Jersey - Half-Zip - Short-Sleeve - Women's

I bought to go with a pair of Castelli shorts and since the shorts are not great, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this. However, the pink version of this shirt is very cute. I find that Castelli shirts run very small so I had to return the small and get a medium. I'm wondering if the stitching in the neck is going to itch. The sleeves are longish for short sleeves.

good cushioning

kind of flimsy, run big

Castelli Cocoon Due Bike Short - Women's

I am a size 4 and am so confused by Castelli's sizing...I ordered a shirt in a small - too small...so I ordered these shorts in a medium - too big. Then I returned them for a small and they really still feel too big. They are sort of baggy and therefore the padding rides up while I'm riding leaving me with the butt bone cushioning not covering my butt bones but rather riding up my back. They look good on while I'm standing around but...that's not really their function, is it? Also, I ordered the black thinking that every pair had the white splice...you have to order black/white to get that. The padding works OK with my indoor trainer bike that has more saddle cushioning but long rides outside with a harder saddle - not so great.
