Write your question here...When a bike has a 26 inch frame size what dimension is this? Is it the height off the ground to the horizontal bar or the crank pivot to the bar or ???? Can't find any info on this !!!!

More than likely you are looking at a bike with 26 inch tires and that is the "size" they are referring too. A 26" seat tube or top tube would be a huge bike. Each company sizes their bikes differently but the majority "size' their bikes with the measurement of the distance from the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube in either cm or inches. Litespeed sizes their bikes off their top tube length which is the center of the headtube to the center of the seat tube. Hope that helps.
