I found the straps easy to adjust and it stays in place on her head (she is right at the 50% medium for size/weight). Like many adult helmets, this is a basic foam shell with a thin plastic cover and excellent super duck graphics. The protection isn't quite up there with a full-on hardshell helmet, but for general toddling around and bike riding, I think it is fine.
