This is a upgrade from my previous Raleigh Competition. The price was very good and the bike arrived completely assembled - just needed to put on my own pedals and adjust it to fit. 1st ride out was a metric century with the local club riders. The improvement over my prior bike was amazing. It is very snappy on the climbs. The most noticeable improvement was that the bike felt incredibly stable on the descents and in the turns. Previous white knuckle descents and sweepers felt like I was riding on a rail. Even though people write reviews about this trait, I never understood it until I experienced it. It has a good amount of dampening too. A very comfortable and fast ride. I can't believe I waited so long to buy one.
