The fabric is amazing. It keeps me at just the right temperature and wicks away sweat. If it's cold enough I'll put a base layer underneath. If I think it'll heat up later on, no base layer and the long sleeves zip up and fold away into the back zippered pocket. This is just a fantastic product, which is why Gore still has it in their lineup years later.
