I've spent a king's ransom on a carbon road bike, prized

Serfas Cable Combo Lock

I've spent a king's ransom on a carbon road bike, prized for its light weight, among other factors (under 15 lbs, fully loaded). I'd like to make sure the bike is secure when I make my regular muffin/coffee/other stop, but it seems almost blasphemous to intentionally add weight to my bike. Looking around the peleton (amateur roadies), I don't see anyone with a lock. What should I do? If I get a lock, what lock is the lightest one that provides adequate (if not failsafe) protection?
