Usually, temps in this scenario usually fall in the 35-50 degree range - cold rain can be an issue.<br /><br />As a result, would it be out of the question to wear a packable rain shell on top of this jacket on cold rainy days? Can you recommend one. One of the things I really like is that the jacket seems to wear like a jersey, perfect with a base layer or two, so I could carry a packable rain shell if moderate to heavy rain is expected.<br /><br />Maybe a vest would be a good idea, just to keep from getting too wet during heavier showers.
