Stella Azzurra Eleganza Tape

I tried this tape for the first time 3 years ago & will never use another. It is the best looking, easiest to clean and garners all sorts of compliments from fellow roadies. It is long wearing - I can get almost 5000 miles out of it before it starts to look ragged. Haven't tried white until now...will see how this holds up compared to some of the other colors

I got turned onto it two years ago by one of my team mates and fell in love instantly. Now it's on all four of my bikes. I especially like the tackyness. I usually ride without gloves in the summer and never lose my grip even when sweating hard. The lighter colors do get dirty but they clean up easily.

This bar wrap tape is great. I had issues with other bar tape sliding down the drops after only 1/2 a summer of riding. This stuff hasn't moved a millimeter. Buy It! It looks super high end too - like perforated leather sport seats in a ferrari!

It's beautiful. It feels great. I love it.

However, it shows every speck of dirt (at least the blue that I have), and it looses its luster with use...
I've been using a cleaner designed for auto interiors that does a pretty good job of restoring it.

That all said, I would buy it again.

Not a fan. Overly tacky to my tastes -- more like cheap rubber than the leather it is trying to look like. I am sticking with classic cork.

High quality tape with plenty of extra length so you can do the figure-8 around the shifters. However, the red color in the red/white and red black combos tends to be a little pinkish, which is true of a lot of red tapes.

The grip feels nice and is nicely padded. But I would probably stick with darker colors because my blue and red dual color grip seems to dirty quite quickly. I am also starting to see some wear in the stitching around the high wear ares after just a short period. Will have to wait and see on the ultimate durability of the product.

Our household just loves this tape. It has a nice feel, look, and I don't always wear gloves with my townie so the tape feels so-o-o good against my bare skin. I have the center of my mountain bike bars taped with this which is sick lookiing and has worked well with the enviorments.

I can see how this tape would be too rubbery for some but I love it. I don't wear gloves in the summer and I find this tape is super sticky, but my favorite aspect is that I can wipe it down with some simple green and it returns to near-new condition after a few weeks of riding. Easy-to-clean tape is a big deal for those of us who don't wear gloves but still know that white bar tape makes you faster.

Super soft and sticky. One of the best feeling bar tapes I've ever felt. Really durable feeling as well. The Celeste color is awesome!
